Registered Physiotherapist
Pooja is a Registered Physiotherapist with a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy and a Master’s degree in Neurological Rehabilitation. Originally trained in India, she brings diverse clinical experience and a patient-centred approach to her practice. She began her physiotherapy career in Toronto in 2023 and most recently as a Resident Physiotherapist at Collingwood General and Marine Hospital. Pooja is excited to bring her experience, passion for physiotherapy, and commitment to patient-centred care to Georgian Bay Physiotherapy.
Pooja is passionate about helping patients move with confidence, achieve their goals, and return to the activities they enjoy. She takes a collaborative approach to care and believes in working with each patient to develop individualized treatment plans that support their unique goals. She is committed to continuous learning through advanced courses and professional development to provide the highest quality of care to her patients.
Outside of the clinic, Pooja enjoys practicing yoga, dancing, hiking, and trying new activities and sports. She especially enjoys spending time with her husband and exploring the local community. Julie Young PT, MSc(PT), BHKin, MCPA.
Julie graduated from McMaster University in 2002 with Honors in Kinesiology and then graduated from McMaster in 2004 with a Masters in Physiotherapy. She worked in both Owen Sound and Collingwood before she opened up Georgian Bay Physiotherapy Inc. in her home town of Meaford. She has taken many advanced courses in manual therapy and is certified with the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada. Julie enjoys an active and outdoor lifestyle including: racing in triathlons, water skiing, hiking, camping and both snowshoeing and downhill skiing in the winter. Rose Wilson Registered Physiotherapist Women’s Pelvic Health Physiotherapist MScPT, BAScKIN
Rose graduated from the University of Toronto, where she obtained a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy after completing a Bachelors of Applied Science in Kinesiology at the University of Guelph-Humber. She had a particular interest in becoming a physiotherapist from a young age when she was a competitive gymnast and dancer.
Her career began in the big city, working at both a busy outpatient clinic and St. Michael’s Hospital in orthopaedics. Recently, she has made the move to Meaford to enjoy the Georgian Bay lifestyle!
Through her clinical experience, Rose has had the opportunity to treat a variety of musculoskeletal/neurological conditions and is a practicing Women’s Pelvic Health Physiotherapist. She utilizes a treatment approach that combines manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, acupuncture/modalities and education to help patients recover from injury and meet their goals.
Rose is passionate about continuing education and has completed courses in Acupuncture, Women’s Pelvic Health, Soft Tissue Release, K-Taping and multiple levels within the CPA Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy program.

Rebecca Hartlen RMT
Rebecca Hartlen, RMT, BSc, MSc
Rebecca graduated from the Ontario College of Health & Technology in 2020 with a diploma in Massage Therapy. She also holds a B.Sc. (McMaster University), an M.Sc. (McGill University) and has a previous career in research. After staying home with her two children for 15 years, Rebecca decided to go back to school for Massage Therapy in 2019.
Rebecca combines her education, experience, and a variety of techniques to deliver treatments to promote healing and enhance the quality of life and well-being of her patients. She believes that good communication with her patients is the key to success, and she works to develop treatments and treatment plans that are tailored to their ongoing and specific goals. Rebecca welcomes the collaboration that is possible at a multidisciplinary clinic. She is committed to her ongoing professional development, through regular participation in continuing education workshops.
Rebecca is excited to be relocating to the Meaford area, after spending many years visiting with family in Clarksburg, and experiencing all the area has to offer. When she is not working, Rebecca spends much of her time outside enjoying the four seasons. She loves cycling, running, swimming, hiking and skiing.

Chirag Charan
Chirag is a Registered Physiotherapist with 4+ years of experience within the Canadian healthcare system. Originally trained in India, he brings a diverse background in physiotherapy, occupational health and safety, and healthcare management.
His clinical expertise includes musculoskeletal assessment, manual therapy, exercise prescription, soft tissue techniques, and functional rehabilitation, with a focus on improving strength, mobility, and safe return to activity. He also provides physiotherapy services at an OHIP-funded clinic in Owen Sound and is pleased to bring his experience and clinical knowledge to Georgian Bay Physiotherapy. Chirag follows an evidence-based, patient-centered approach, emphasizing goal setting, recovery, and long-term independence through education and individualized treatment plans.
Outside of physiotherapy, Chirag enjoys camping, cooking, singing, exploring new places, and listening to podcasts to learn and discover new ideas. He especially enjoys spending time with family and friends and making the most of an active and balanced lifestyle.
